Dealer Licence: 411745744

*Update – February 2026*

Hi everyone — we finally have some good news!
We’ve received our new Dealer Licence and we’re almost ready to reopen. We wanted to wait until the licence was issued before restocking the workshop with essentials like bluing salts, cleaning chemicals, cutting tools and other supplies (some of which are perishable and expensive). Orders have now been placed, and stock will be arriving gradually over the next couple of months, with some items coming from overseas.
While we’re waiting for deliveries, we’ve been back to work rebuilding our bluing tanks and stock-duplicating table, and we’ve started training to upskill in additional metal restoration methods. We’re also learning small-scale CNC processes so we can produce parts, adaptors and accessories on an as-needed basis — as spare parts have become increasingly difficult to source.
We’ve had a number of enquiries about repairs and parts. For now, the short answer is: we can only work on firearms where parts are already available within Australia. If a part can’t be sourced locally through another dealer or importer, we aren’t able to obtain it at this stage. We’re continuing to contact suppliers to see which dealer accounts can be reinstated, what costs look like in 2026, and whether it’s viable based on demand.
In the past, we imported some parts and accessories via contacts in the USA, but import costs have risen so sharply over the years that it’s no longer good value for us or for you — not until pricing becomes more reasonable. Instead, we’re focusing on building better in-house capability. We’re still training on machines and software, but our goal is that by the end of the year we’ll be able to supply certain parts ourselves when they can’t be sourced locally, or produce custom parts (for example, modified sight rails or trigger guards) more efficiently. Over the next couple of years, we’re aiming to make parts better, faster, and offer a wider range of finishes beyond Cerakote and traditional bluing.
Over the next few months we’ll also be visiting local ranges in Cessnock and Maitland to reconnect with everyone again. We’re looking forward to getting involved in local competitions across handgun, rifle and shotgun. We haven’t spent as much time at the range in the past, but with the new shop and the new way we’re doing things, we want that to change — and spend more time enjoying the sport alongside you.
It’s been a long wait to get to this point, but we’re nearly there — the hardest part is over. Now we’re just waiting for deliveries to arrive, and then we’ll be up and running.
Hope to see you soon at the range!
